WHAT IS PILATES
Pilates is a system of fitness and therapeutic exercises developed by Joseph Pilates. These exercises incorporate breathing and mindful movement to improve stability and mobility of the joints as well as overall flexibility and strengthening of the body. Other benefits include better posture, digestion, sleep, and mood.
WHAT IS BARRE?
There are many barre methods to pick from nowadays. My method incorporates classical ballet, pilates, and strength training to improve posture, flexibility, tone, and strength. No pilates or ballet experience is required for this full- body, low-impact class.
WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED?
All you need to get started is a mat and little space in your home. Props are always optional.
